“Evolution is an immersive, interactive, visual dance showcase; designed, developed and implemented by self-assigned groups spanning across three different classes. It is to be demonstrated at the end of the semester in the Payne Theater for a two-night showcase on the 9th/10th of May, 2019."

"At certain points in the day, we feel certain emotions. These emotions that were evoked in me at this particular point in the day are how I based my movement gestures and built them further with improvisation."

As there were not enough composers to go around, we were given an already made song by our composer.

"I want to turn the act of lighting the dancers into its own dance. Emphasizing how everyday movement can be turned into a sensual task."

"Creating a 3D environment with the stage, as the “day” progresses in the dance, the definition of the paint strokes will blur and turn into smoke."
